Research Supervision
- Two students completed doctoral degree (PhD) under Prof. Satheesh’s supervision and are currently pursuing post doctoral research at University of Hampton, USA and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), USA respectively.
- Four PhD students are currently doing PhD under his supervision. Five students completed M.Sc (Engg) degree and are pursuing PhD abroad including one student at Harward University.
- In addition, more than 20 students carried out B.E./B.S./B.Tech/M.Sc./M.Tech projects in this lab under the supervision of Prof. Satheesh. Prof. Satheesh has conducted several training programs to provide training on aerosols and radiative transfer models to PhD students in various institutions/Universities in India. Several of these students later became reputed scientists in aerosol and its impact assessment using raditive transfer models.
- Prof. Satheesh organised two training programs on satellite remote sensing jointly with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA), where scientists from ISRO and NASA provided training on satellite remote sensing to PhD students, young scientists and University lecturers.
